The background of Norjon

Norjon Engineers was founded in 1984 by Norman Goff and John Aslett in the humble premises that were their garages. Due to the determined efforts and commitment of these talented engineers they soon outgrew these garages and moved to a larger unit on an industrial estate in Fareham.

This successful business was built by the skills of these men manufacturing one off and small batches of quality precision components using manual lathes and milling machines. Other skilled engineers soon joined this successful team and the business continued to grow until the sudden, sad death of John in 1998. Norman then took sole ownership of the company which continued on a steady path until 2002 when Norman decided to retire and put the business up for sale.

At this time Mr. Kevin Fox, purchased the business together with the order books and is today successfully managing the work. Kevin was Norman's apprentice at Geo. Kingsbury, in Gosport in the 70 s.

The business continued in this form until April 2004 when it relocated to a new, larger premises in Gosport, where CNC machinery was soon installed. This continued growth soon led to another relocation in 2006 to the present, larger premises in Wingate Road, Gosport.

2007 saw the introduction of high tech CAD/CAM software, 5 Axis milling machines and the introduction of mould tool design and manufacture to it’ s now wide range of engineering disciplines.

The company’s aims are now to satisfy its customer’s requirements utilising modern machine tools and practices with a highly skilled and motivated team of engineers.
